Find your lens cap size
Inquisitively search lens for diameter symbol. often marks the spot. The diameter you seek may be accompanied by a number 58 or 58mm. Look to the side and the front this precious number is your lens cap size. Be warned: your lens focal length (e.g. 18-55mm) is not your lens cap size.

Best Caps World Wide

The best filter caps I have ever used. They are made of very strong metal, but at the same time, light. The thread is so well made and close very well. I use various 77mm and 82mm, I already have several pairs that I have been changing with (the ones I had before, were crude and heavy in manufacture) The URTH caps weigh at least half as much as the old caps and close very well in different brands of filters.
