This information is required to invoice and deliver the product you ordered and to communicate about the order. These data will not be used by Urth for any other purpose than the communication about a specific order or optimizing our service. We believe it is important to show the person behind a story. That is why we include select personal details from our Ambassadors and contributors in their stories, such as biographic details, links to personal websites or social media, and photographs. This is based on consent: if you request the anonymization of your stories, we will remove your personal details. Stories and photographs will not be removed if they cannot be used to identify you.

For individuals in the UK, we have appointed Gobe Corp UK Ltd as our UK representative in compliance with UK GDPR requirements. Other organizations support the data processing. They are the processors. These include Shopify for all information related to your visit to our webshop, and Klaviyo for all information related to your newsletter subscription. When paying for a purchase, this may be processed by PayPal, VISA, AMEX, Mastercard, Stipe, or another payment service provider that is chosen by you.
When engaging in social media, information may be shared with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or others. Our website may contain links to third party websites. For fulfilling your order or providing support, Amazon, Cin7, Gorgias or other companies receive information. We have agreements with them that require they provide at least the same level of privacy protection as Urth. You can trust your data is safe in our hands. Your data is stored on secure servers, managed by Shopify and Klaviyo. To access this data, we use devices with password protection, inactivity locks and two-factor authentication (where needed). Additionally, all our employees are instructed and trained in the secure handling of personal data using our internal policy and code of conduct centered on privacy.
We store your data for only as long as is needed for providing the service/product, for legal obligations, or for the legitimate interest that the data serves. Subscription details (e.g. email address) are removed as soon as possible and at least within 30 days after unsubscribing.
