Identify your lens thread diameter, marked by the “Ø” symbol on the barrel or front element (e.g. Ø49mm). Select a step-up ring where the lower value matches your lens thread, and the higher value matches your desired filter size (e.g. 49–52mm adapts a Ø52mm filter to a Ø49mm lens).

Thread the step-up ring onto the front of your lens with a firm, even rotation. Ensure a snug fit without over-tightening to maintain thread integrity.

Align a magnetic filter with the mounted step-up ring. The magnetic rim will automatically snap into place with a secure, precise connection — no threading required.

Attach a Magnetic Lens Cap to the mounted filter to shield both the filter glass and lens from dust, scratches and impact.
